Introducing Our Brand New Kitchen and Catering Equipment Line

We are excited to announce that EventWorks has added a brand new line of kitchen and catering equipment to our inventory! When we heard that our clients were struggling to find quality catering equipment for their onsite kitchen spaces, our team saw an opportunity to expand our offerings. Now that we’ve added this new line of products, our clients will be able to book nearly all of their rentals with EventWorks and save time on coordinating with separate vendors.

From grills and griddles to convection ovens and fryers, we’ve got your onsite kitchen space covered. Here are just a few of the new items that you can now rent from EventWorks.

One of the most important details at any event is making sure that every guest enjoys a warm meal. Our Warming Cabinets will keep your plates at the perfect temperature until they’re ready to be served. Our warming cabinets have a capacity of 36 sheet pans and can heat up to 180 degrees. Other features include an air baffle and circulating air blower to provide even heat distribution as well as a easy to read LED thermometer.

Hosting a large crowd for a spring festival? These Convection Ovens will heat things up in no time! Our convection ovens come with propane, 4 adjustable racks, and has easy mobility. It also has a standard oven depth, electric ignition, and a 60-minute cook timer.

With the weather warming up, it’s the perfect time to take the festivities outdoors! Serve up right on the patio with our 5’ Gas Grill with Propane. Features include 4 stainless steel grate cooking surface and easy mobility.

With a 20” x 36” cook top surface, our Griddles with Propane are big enough to make meal planning flexible for the chef who wants to do it all. Some features include a ¼” thick steel griddle plate and easy mobility.

With an oil capacity of 45lbs and double basket feature, our new Fryer with Propane makes it easy to fry up several ingredients at once.

Our 6 Burner Range and conventional oven will allow you to cook your stove top items onsite!

Spring is here and change is in the air! The modern look is on trend this season and we heard our clients are searching for pieces to complete their sleek aesthetic. We’ve rounded up a few fresh items and are thrilled to unveil these new additions to the EventWorks inventory!

The WillistonCocktail Table

Meet Morgan

Staff Spotlight: Meet Morgan Hollings Client Relations + Sales Manager

Morgan joined our team in October after making the big cross-country move to Charleston from the west coast. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Morgan and her husband were most recently stationed in California with the Air Force. She is now the Client Relations and Sales Manager for our EventWorks location in Charleston.

Before joining EventWorks, Morgan studied early childhood education at the University of Georgia and later became an elementary school teacher in Baltimore, MD. After moving to California, Morgan worked as a sales and membership lead for a health and fitness club.

Morgan’s favorite part of working at Eventworks is the opportunity to meet with clients and help them plan their big events. She really enjoys getting to be part of someone’s wedding day or special event and appreciates the hard work our team puts into bringing clients’ visions to life.

Her favorite products to share with clients are the Mahogany Half Moon Bars, our new collection of Edison Tables and the Green Velvet Tufted Couch.

When Morgan isn’t at the office, you will find her spending time with her husband and pups Bentley + Bailey, exploring Charleston, learning how to play golf, decorating at home or cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and basketball teams her brothers coach for.

We are thrilled to welcome Morgan to the EventWorks family and look forward to celebrating her many accomplishments!

Take Pride. Have Heart. Give Thanks.

When it comes to working in the event rentals industry, there are six words that the EventWorks team takes very seriously: Take Pride. Have Heart. Give Thanks. This has become a daily motto for our team, as well as the framework for our company’s future goals and dreams. It may seem simple, but these words mean a lot to our company and help guide our work every day.

Take Pride.

To us, this means that we are constantly pursuing excellence in service and self.

We take pride in our work. Anytime a client asks for our assistance, we do everything we can to lend a hand. Whether it’s a minor detail or a major dilemma, we address every question and issue with a prompt response and resolution. Getting an event to the finish line and seeing how happy our clients are with the end results inspire us to continue striving for excellence. We love what we do, especially when we get to be part of events that positively impact our community. We also take pride in our team. We believe that team development is an essential part of achieving consistency and success in our work. We invest time in training our staff on every aspect of the job, from setting up tents, washing and packaging dishes, caring for and repairing our rentals and working efficiently on a job site. We value leadership and our team’s ability to anticipate and address the needs of our clients. We enjoy discovering new processes and techniques to help our people grow and enhance our clients’ total experience.

Have Heart.

Having heart means that we actively cultivate meaningful relationships with our team, partners and clients.

Working in the events industry involves spending a lot of time with planners, caterers, photographers and several other vendors. We have learned that collaboration is key and building strong relationships with the talented professionals in our industry only helps to elevate our work. It is important that our clients and partnering vendors can rely on every member of our team, from day one with our sales staff to the day of the event with our onsite delivery team.

We have heart for our team. We take time to celebrate big events like weddings, birthdays, employment anniversaries and other milestone moments in life. We foster positive attitudes and hard work, and encourage our team to take moments to congratulate each other for our successes.

Give Thanks.

We practice this principle by expressing gratitude and demonstrating humility.

When the busy season slows down, we spend time reflecting on our work and identifying ways that we can grow and enhance the EventWorks experience for our clients. We are always receptive to feedback and view challenges as an opportunity to improve our relationships and the services we provide.

As our company continues to grow, we are taking on bigger events and our team members are investing extra time on the clock to make it all happen. Every job involves a number of logistical obstacles, which requires seamless coordination with operations, production and a number of other partners. We know that this is no easy feat, so we take time to give thanks to our team. When we complete a job that’s especially challenging, it’s nice to take a step back and show appreciation for everyone’s efforts.

Most recently, we implemented the Take Pride. Have Heart. Give Thanks. company-wide raffle, to build encouragement as our team headed into a demanding busy. Team members received tickets when they

- Turning in their finished paperwork (taking pride in the job they did)

- Receiving compliments from clients on a job well done (having heart)

- Receiving ‘shout outs’ for helping teammates when they needed an extra hand (giving thanks)

Anyone in the events industry can tell you how tough the spring and fall seasons are. It’s important that even our most hectic months, we take time to express our gratitude for one another and find opportunities to celebrate the ‘wins’ of the season. That’s why we introduced the shout-out box!

By the end of each day, our shout out box was filled to the brim with positive words of praise and encouragement, which seemed to immediately boost morale in the warehouse! Our raffle is one of the best examples of how taking pride, having heart and giving thanks has impacted our team and created a culture that we’re proud of.

Take Pride. Have Heart. Give Thanks. These six words hang proudly in our warehouse and are a daily reminder of what’s most important to our company – our people, partners and clients. We are incredibly thankful to have a team that takes pride in what they do and clients who trust EventWorks to handle their special events.

Color of the Year: Living Coral

Pantone has officially announced the color of the year for 2019 – it’s Living Coral! With the weather warming up and neutral color palettes transitioning out, we’re seeing more brides pick bright shades for their big day. Whether you’re looking to create a bold tablescape or add just a touch of brightness to a softer setting, coral is the perfect hue.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to incorporate the color of the year on your big day!

A simple way to bring a pop of coral to your event space is with floral arrangements. Adding a few different shades to the mix to complement the coral helps create depth and puts this hue center stage. This color packs a powerful punch, so sticking with neutral chairs like our Natural X-backs, Whitewash Chloe or our Ghost Chair will showcase this bold shade without overwhelming the table.

If you don’t want to take the full plunge into coral, you can still add subtle hints of the hue with a soft ombrè effect. Easily recreate this elegant reception with either our Gold Chivari or Gold Napoleon Chair.
