It is that time of year again – oyster roast season! With cooler temperatures, an oyster roast is the perfect social event for any occasion and EventWorks has the products to make your next event a shuckin’ good time.
To get started, first you will need an Oyster Cooker. Able to hold up to a bushel of oysters, our oyster cooker is easily transportable since it is on wheels and lightweight. It can also be used to cook other seafood as well!
We have a several different table options depending on the style of your oyster roast. For those having a more casual affair, we have standard 8’ Oyster Table that have the centers removed to easily toss away the shells. For a more elegant event, we have Custom Oyster tables that are higher than a standard table, much more detailed in design and also with removable centers. Do not worry, we also have trash cans available for rent - making clean-up a breeze!
A key component for a successful oyster roast is the proper Oyster Knife! We carry a line of sturdy knives with eye-catching blue handles that provide extra grip to assist getting you to your tasty oyster!
Just in case it happens to rain on your event day, we have tents ranging in size to accommodate all of your guests! If it happens to be a chillier day on the coast, which is quite possible during oyster season, do not forget your heaters to help your guests stay warm!

Over the past couple of years, we have introduced several products into our inventory that have later transitioned into pieces that our clients and planners consistently crush on. EventWorks Staff Spotlight: Meet Nichole Carpenter, Client Relations and Sales Manager
Location: Myrtle Beach
With a degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Nichole has come a long way from her Criminal Psychology roots. She always wanted to live on the coast so after graduation she moved to the Myrtle Beach area. Before diving into the rental industry, Nichole worked for a local catering company, as well as for a local event planner. Her comprehensive understanding of the event industry has tremendously helped her be able to better service our clients.
While she loves organization and design, she wanted to be able to spend more time with her son, Jackson, so when a position opened in 2016 at EventWorks, it was the perfect fit – event-industry oriented, yet with a manageable work-life balance. After all, she has always had a passion for design and loves seeing client’s visions come to life.
Her favorite EventWorks products include the Natural Chalkboard. She loves using it as a fun decor piece or personalized signage.

We have several unique products we are so excited to highlight to kick off (almost) spring season! How is it already February!? Clients have been asking for new options and we are so excited to share them with you. We cannot wait to see how our clients creatively integrate our newest products into their 2018 designs.
With a matte finish and smooth texture, the Heirloom China comes in two colors: White and Smoke. Currently available in White are the B&B plate, Salad plate and Dinner Plate. In the Smoke, we currently carry the Salad plate, but hope to add the other sizes to our inventory later this year.
We have added several new chargers to our inventory within the past year, but the Rattan option is definitely one of our favorites. Simple and southern, these chargers can be paired with our Farm tables and linen tables alike for an elegant affair or a backyard soiree. More photos coming soon!
We love the Driftwood X-Back chairs, but we are really excited about our lighter, Natural X-Back chairs, especially for our spring and summer brides! With the same gorgeous cross back design, the lighter color can be dressed down or up depending on the elegance of your event!
Not only do we provide rentals for weddings and social events, we also are involved in many corporate events throughout the year. We are excited to introduce our Executive Chair to our inventory! Perfect for panels or meetings, these cushioned, armed chairs on wheels can add a sophisticated touch to your next function.
Last year, we introduced several new statement lounge pieces to our inventory. And this year, we’re excited to showcase our Green Metal End Table. With a patina finish that can be modern or classic, this piece pairs perfectly with many of our sofas including the Green Velvet Tufted Sofa and Brown Leather Tufted Sofa. With the clover side designs, it is truly a unique option for the client who is willing to be creative!

EventWorks Staff Spotlight: Meet Ellen Nye, Client Relations and Sales Manager
Location: Savannah, GA
Upon graduating from Valdosta State University with an extensive amount of experience in the hospitality industry, Ellen Nye decided to move to Savannah, GA to begin her career and fulfill her passion for serving others. After holding a position as a Senior Manager and Event & Catering Specialist, Ellen knew she had a heart for creating memorable events while upholding superior service. She joined the Savannah EventWorks team in October of 2017.
Ellen began working in the hospitality industry in high school – this is where she discovered her passion for events. She enjoys working with clients and assisting them in creating and executing their vision.
