At EventWorks, we like to keep things fresh. Whether we’re touching up popular pieces in our fabrication shop or we’re searching for new inventory to add to our collection, we’re committed to quality. We invest in the best and hand-select new items on a regular basis, so our clients always have the latest and greatest to choose from. This season, we are excited to unveil several new additions and share a few styling tips to help you take your event to the next level!
Our Slate Grey Velvet Sofa has been a popular lounge piece for the past few seasons and we wanted to keep the velvet trend going, so we added a new hue and style to the mix. Our Blue Velvet Century Sofa embodies modern luxury, with its rich color and sleek shape. This new piece will bring warmth and sophisticated comfort to any event space.
We can’t decide which view we like best of our new Blythe Sofa and Chairs - the beautiful tufted fabric details on the front, or the natural wood carvings on the back? No matter where you’re standing in the room, this seating will look stunning. They’re also comfortable and spacious enough to seat several guests at once.
For this glamorous inspired look, we paired the sofa and chairs with two Gabby Gold End Tables. The circular pattern in the tables adds a romantic touch and ties in nicely with the design of our Blythe Lounge.
Our Antoinette Lounge is always a big hit, but several of our clients have asked for larger options to better fit their event space, so we’ve added The Adele Sofa and Adele Chairs. With plush fabric and delicate wood details, this linen lounge collection is the perfect addition to a chic farmhouse look or French eclectic feel.
The Adele Sofa and Chair pair great with another one of our new rentals, our Natural Distressed Coffee Table. The light distressed look of this piece adds an element of relaxed elegance and complements the natural wood tones of the Adele.
Our clients love the versatility of our 4ft bars, so we added another option in a new color this season. Meet our Grey 4’ Bar! The dove grey hue is soft and subtle, which blends seamlessly with any event style. Much like our Mahogany 4’ Bar, this piece makes a chic statement and includes a little extra prep space in the back. This neutral design looks great next to styled shelving, like our Maison Gold Bookshelf.
Complete your tablescape with our Bone Stiletto Flatware. The modern, clean details of this line pair well with most china and add a level of sophistication to your table.
The Bone Stiletto Flatware looks like it was made to pair with our Heirloom China. We recently expanded our Heirloom color offerings to include both Grey and White Heirloom in all three sizes of plates, so you can mix and match or use one color set to create a chic monochromatic look.
Clear acrylic chairs are becoming a staple for luxury events. Our Ghost Chairs have been an increasingly popular item for their style versatility. Additionally, they are great for their ability to maintain a feeling of openness despite crowding issues or working with an elaborate decor design. We are excited to add an additional chair to the Ghost family, the Ghost Bar Stool. These guys are light weight and pair well with a number of different cocktail height tables.
If you’re planning to serve up warm sides in individual serving sizes, our Oval Cassette is the perfect choice. At 5.5” long, this dish can hold up to 10 oz.

It has been nearly two years since EventWorks merged with Peachtree Tents & Events, making us part of the largest event rental company in the Southeast. We now proudly serve the entire Southeastern Region with locations in Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Savannah, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Birmingham and Nashville. This merger has allowed us to create more value for our clients, build greater depth in reach and operational experience, provide larger product offerings and house the resources to undertake larger-than-life events. This step has helped our company move closer to achieving our ultimate goal: never having to say no.
This past May, we held a company-wide meeting in Atlanta to discuss ‘wins’ from the past year and set goals for the coming year. In reflecting on the past twelve months, we realized just how much we have accomplished in a short amount of time. We have been able to add one-of-a-kind rental pieces to inventories at all of our locations, by utilizing resources available at our design/build centers and by taking a standardized approach to purchasing. We have built deeper product lines that we now share across the Southeast Region. We opened a new EventWorks location in Jacksonville and moved our Savannah office to a bigger facility. We also proudly participated in executing high-caliber events, including the NFL Draft, Superbowl LIII, Music Midtown and Lifetime TV’s Live Wedding Series.
As we look forward to this next year, we hope to move closer to our goal of never turning down an opportunity. Our depth in our two most important resources, professional people and quality of product, allow us to adjust to busy seasons so that we can continue to execute high levels of service. Our clients’ needs are wide ranging and so are the sizes of their events. We enjoy loading an SUV for a small customer pick up order as much as building a tent on a hill with custom level flooring. We don’t want any event to be too big, too challenging, too large of scale or impossible for us to take on. These types of events are typically served by multiple companies to fulfill a portion of one job, which can make things complicated. By building strength in our inventory, resources and operational knowledge and skill sets, we can bring stability and consistency to the process of executing these types of events in each of our markets. Our local communities will ultimately benefit from the success of these large events and we are incredibly passionate about supporting this growth on a local level.
While we have grown to service large festivities, we still remain committed to serving any occasion, no matter the size. To maintain this commitment, we have kept all decision making at a local level, allowing us to be flexible with purchasing and meet the needs of each specific market. Our merger has added resources for growth, stability, consistency and enhanced our capabilities, but our philosophy will always be based on a ‘local presence with a regional reach’. We created this large organization to build greater value for our clients through selection, depth, and experience. We are excited about the future. We love our communities and loyal clients, and will continue building strong relationships at a local level.
We have set the bar high for the upcoming year. We will continue to build trust with our clients and support a better understanding of who we are as a collective group of local companies, by growing our resources and improving our company websites. We are extremely grateful for all of our clients and your support through this journey. We look forward to the next year with you and all that we will accomplish together.

Kristi and Chad were married on a beautiful summer day at Lowndes Grove. The waterfront estate in downtown Charleston boasts 14 acres of natural beauty, all surrounded by river views and live oak groves. The lush green grounds, bright white buildings and romantic shadows under the oaks created the perfect setting for this couple’s glamorous golden wedding reception.
The couple’s classic style was a perfect fit for the historic venue. They created a timeless look throughout the space with elegant décor and subtle details. When the guests arrived on a Charleston trolley bus, they found their way to their seats with the help of this beautiful display, featuring our Wrought Iron Easel.
The glamorous look was carried over to the bar area, where they used our Chameleon Gold Bars and Maison Bookshelves for this stunning set-up. Tip: Stack three bars together to create a statement piece for cocktail hour. This stylish solution will also give the bartenders extra room to mix up signature cocktails, so your guests spend less time standing in line and more time on the dance floor!
Kristi and Chad wanted their guests to have comfortable places to dine, drink and visit during the reception, so they decided to create multiple lounge areas throughout the venue. Each set-up was a little different, which added variety and dimension to the large space. The light wood and linen fabric on our Antoinette Settees and Dior Chairs kept everything feeling open and airy. To add a little extra ambiance to the room, we placed conference tables between the small lounge couches and added a few candles.
They kept most of the decor simple and clean, drawing attention to the gold and green focal points in the room. The Napoleon Chairs and trees brought a regal look to the reception space. The couple mixed up the seating at each table and one of our favorite set-ups was the use of conference tables on leg extenders. This doubled as reception seating and a spot for guests to relax after getting down on the dance floor!
When guests arrived to their seats for dinner, their spots were set with our Gold Mosaico Glass Charger and Gold Flatware. Chargers are a great decorative tool – they add a subtle layer of color and texture to your tablescape, without taking away from the other details. We love how these chargers resemble the pattern of a sea-shell and bring an elegant touch to the table.
This wedding at Lowndes Grove was golden, glamorous and timeless! We had such a pleasure working with Kristi and Chad to make their dream wedding day a reality. Congrats to the happy couple!

In the heart of Downtown Charleston, you’ll find one of the most popular event venues on the peninsula. Known for its modern elegance and historic charm, the Gadsden House features floor-to-ceiling windows, original heart pine floors and picturesque garden courtyards. Miranda and Adam Griffeth picked the perfect spring day to tie the knot at this iconic spot. The couple creatively incorporated Charleston history with hints of blue, free flowing florals and sophisticated details. This wedding embodied classic elegance, with a few fun, surprising elements to personalize the celebration.
To pair with the building’s architectural features and gold finishes, the couple selected our Gold Chivari Chairs for their ceremony seating. These seats were the perfect addition to the space, adding a subtle pop of contrast against the lush green backdrop.
The couple’s cocktail hour was one of the most original we’ve ever seen! They paid homage to their furry friends with a pet-themed signature cocktail menu, featuring fun sips like icy popsicles + Prosecco by the glass. The popsicles were bright and eye-catching, and they looked so pretty in our Universal Wine Glasses!
We used our White Plantation Bar and Gold Maison Book Shelves to create a stunning spot for guests to grab their drinks. Tip: If you’re planning to serve a variety of signature cocktails at your event, we recommend using one of our larger bars for the prep space. It will keep the lines down and the drinks flowing, and also add a gorgeous conversation piece for guests to admire while they wait to order.
Miranda and Adam brought the Charleston theme full-circle for the reception by adding soft shades of blues, pinks and golds to the table tops. They also named each table after a notable Lowcountry spot and used these illustrated name cards to help guests find their seats.
The tables were set with our Trieste and Amalfi China, along with our Gold Flatware and Bella Blue water goblets. This special combination was a nod to the ocean shore, bright colors and sophisticated details you find throughout downtown Charleston.
The happy couple kicked off the dance hour on our Birchwood and White Dance Floors . We offer our dance floors in a range of colors, which makes it easy for our clients to create all kinds of patterns to customize their entertainment space.
This unforgettable wedding was equal parts elegant, charming, unique and fun! We were so happy to be part of The Griffeth’s Charleston-themed day and wish them the very best. Congrats to the happy couple!

At EventWorks, we’re proud to offer an extensive line of inventory with items for every style. We love helping our clients find the perfect pieces to fit their unique visions, and seeing all of the different ways that our rentals are used at events. Over the years, we’ve seen it all - from timeless and traditional church nuptials, to bold and eccentric ceremonies. If you’re looking to plan a quintessential Charleston wedding with an unconventional twist, the Doellings’ Lowcountry Boil is the perfect source of inspiration. This couple put their own spin on a Carolina classic to create a one-of-a-kind wedding day by the water.
Meg and Richard tied the knot on a glowing day at Bowens Island. The couple kept things simple, showcasing all of the things that South Carolinians love most about the Lowcountry – sun, scenery and seafood. Their day was dressed with delicate details in the prettiest blues and greens, and the end result was show-stopping.
The couple shared their vows inside the graffiti-covered walls of the Bowens Island Boat House. The light, open space and breathtaking views of the Folly River set a romantic scene for the ceremony. To complement the bright atmosphere and natural tones inside of the boat house, the couple selected our Mahogany Wood Slatted Chairs (LINK) for the guest seating. The dark wood and simplistic style of the chair kept the ceremony true to the ambiance the couple was looking to set.
With these already stunning backyard views, the couple didn’t need a lot of decor to create the perfect cocktail hour. Our Overhanging Café Lighting was a great selection for the outdoor space. The charming light fixtures added an extra warm glow and created a cozy atmosphere for guests while they grabbed drinks and mingled.
To fit the Lowcountry Boil theme, we set up various seating areas throughout the venue. Along with indoor and outdoor seating, our Mahogany Farm Tables and Tideland Barstools offered extra space inside for guests to dine. The pub height legs added height and dimension to the reception area and depth to the photos. Our Blue Slate Linens brought a pop of color to the tablescapes and balanced out the muted tones of the landscape. The couple did an impressive job with selecting rental items to highlight the natural beauty of the venue and fit the laid-back vibe of the celebration.
We loved the Doellingers’ fun and fresh take on the Charleston wedding and had so much fun being part of their special day. Wishing this newly married couple many years of happiness together!
